On ear: Au Revoir Simone – Sad Song
I love Au Revoir Simone. I do. The music is so playful and beautiful at the same time. But they were not what I was supposed to write about now. But the british project Pram and their album The Moving Frontier from 2007.
This is an experimental Birmingham band on Dimonio Recordings. It’a quite jazzy. I’m just in the start of loving jazz, I really LOVE Pram. They remind me a bit about the Norwegian band Friko I’ve written about earlier. This album never gets boring – just unreachable. And that is something one can work with…
